Smart Alec Leprechaun

The cheeky Leprechaun

I was standing on the treacherous 17th tee at our course. It's a long par three over a lake and I was rummaging through my bag for an old ball as I always do on this hole.

A Leprechaun suddenly appeared from nowhere and whispered,

"Take out a brand new ball, the best one you have."

I pulled out a Titleist Pro VI and nervously stuck it on a tee.

The Leprechaun then said,

"Take a practice swing."

I was still a little taken a back but was enjoying the excitement of this surreal experience, so I did and he said.

"Take another practice swing."

I did this and then waited on the next instruction.

There was a pretty long pause and then the Leprechaun said,

"I think you better take out that old ball after all."

The flaming cheek!
