Vote for your favourite golf legend...
Does 'Old Tom' or 'Tiger' take it?
A typical golf legend would come from this list:
Old Tom Morris, Young Tom Morris, Harry Vardon, Bobby Jones, Walter Hagen, Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Byron Nelson, Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, Tom Watson, Lee Trevino, Seve Ballesteros, Nick Faldo and Tiger Woods.

If I have left out your personal favourite golf legend then I do apologise but these players for me stand out as having changed the history of modern golf.
I for one would like to create a course of dreams and bring these greats together, all of them of course in the prime of their careers.
Who could hit the ball further than Slammin' Sam Snead who achieved phenominal distances with dinosoar equipment? Do you remeber those old clubs?
Who would be able to stand up to Ben Hogan who expected to win no matter how good the rest of the field played and he often did? More on Ben Hogan
Could any one of them achieve the magic that Bobby Jones created each and every time he walked the fairways? More on Bobby Jones
There is of course a living golf legend who has all of their traits, Tiger Woods. But does he have an edge on the others? I don't know but I would say that he is the personification of them all and my money would be on him.
Check out Tiger's swing.
